Uniforms are like cloths, right?
I've got 4 different lenses for the Leica now. 35mm, 50mm, 90mm and 135mm (if only they ever thought of a telezoomlens over at the Leitz Wetzlar plant, I could've been done with a single lens)
Still undecided about the whole Lomography thing. So...it's not art, and art's not Lomography? I think I'd rather take my pictures the conventional way and put some thougth into it ![]()
Actually I bought my first 'vintage' camera back in 2005. Before that I started out with a digital camera in 2003.
Oh, and there is a PH-324 camera on ebay now...but the seller is asking a whopping $800 for it ![]()

No.2 british post war battledress
Thought you were doing a US Paratrooper impression Skitz?

No.2 british post war battledress
no2 dress uniform
or
post war battledress?
A no2 uniform is like a proper blazer and trousers suit and worn on ceremonial occasions whereas post war battle dress is a short jacket and trousers.
No2 uniform would make a good counts as service dress for wwii which was what was used before 37 pat bd came in.
looks like this

"I think we are in rats' alley - Where the dead men lost their bones."
Unbadged £5 is an avarage price i would say for a tunic although they do go for £15 or more sometimes depending i guess on unit and size
I meant £15 for the suit.

Gas mask tin from Keith turned up today - looks OK, straps seem insubstantial though.
Also Spearhead's package too - oak camo trousers & shirt are fine but the M42 wool trousers seem, well, odd. Compared to the Sturm the wool is quite a bit thinner, smoother, not as 'wirey' and less green. But the details are peculiar - main pocket openings are vertical (parallel to leg seams), the watch pocket is a patch pocket without button closure, the main waistband fastening is a single button (like the M37). Not what is illustrated as M42 on their web site.

Criky Dave that was almost a re-enactors passion for detail there ![]()

I got a set of alternate straps for £5 - only one missing was the lid clasp one - which are normally not part of the 'set'
I got them from http://www.cobbatoncombat.co.uk/sales/misc.htm
Delivery from Pirchen last week...
Officers Wool M36 tunic. Fucking spot on!
Officers Wool breeches. Very odd sizing. Needs some major alterations.
Pair of Luftwaffe Blue shirts. Absolute bargain at £12.50 each ![]()
Delivery from Keith today...
Officers Lufty Tuchrock. Needs some MAJOR alterations. Need to stitch the shoulder boards in, and alter the collar (god knows how they managed to arse up the collar) Upper pockets sit to high as well. Oh well, will drop it round my mums house to get sorted (she's a wizard with a needle and thread, though i dare say the trade off will be me doing some work on the garden for her - got a funny feeling its going to involve putting up a new potting shed for her
)
Also, Officers Gabardine M36 tunic. Nowhere near as good as the one i've got from Pirchen, so may just sell it. The Gabardine breeches, however, are better sized than those from Pirchen.
Still awaiting a delivery from Sanjay at Replicaters ![]()
